My Marvellous Man

Michael
My Marvellous Man and I have been married for over thirty amazing years. We met at University when I was studying early childhood teaching and he was studying industrial chemistry. Neither of us understood what the other one was studying but our best friends were a couple, studying the same courses, and they introduced us.

My Marvellous Man is the same age as me but he will always be older, he was born at the beginning of the year and I was born at the end. A fact that never ceases to entertain our daughter.

He is a fantastic father who loves his children with a big heart. His world is a little sadder because he can't share the things he thought he would with Cameron but he finds joy in the things he can share with him and shares precious time with his beautiful daughter too.

Almost losing Cameron and then facing life with a brain injured child has been really hard for My Marvellous Man but he has persevered and worked through his trauma. He is much more at peace with everything now and is very appreciative of every thing he has in his life. He knows that things have very little meaning if you don't have your loved ones to share them with.

My Marvellous Man is a tower of strength but incredibly romantic, loving and kind. He has a sarcastic sense of humour and a wicked laugh but he will break down and cry when it all gets too much. He gives me hugs and kisses when I least expect them and surprises me with flowers for no reason.

He is always supportive and the only person I need to hold my hand through this amazing roller coaster ride that we call our lives.
